These terms apply to the website and services of Sozo Holdings LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. By using our website or services, or by opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.
Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and products provide software platforms for skilled-trade and field service businesses, which may include job management, scheduling, customer communication, invoicing, payment processing, and related tools delivered as a subscription service.
Accounts. To access software services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and update it as needed.
Subscriptions and fees. Access to software services may require payment of subscription fees disclosed at the time of purchase. Fees are subject to change with advance notice. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no refund of fees already paid.
Intellectual property. Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates retain all rights to the software, platform, and content we provide. You retain all rights to data you submit through the service.
Our services may offer connections to third-party platforms, including QuickBooks Online and other Intuit products, payment processors, and communication providers. By enabling a third-party connection, you authorize Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and products to access and exchange data with that platform on your behalf, limited to what you have authorized.
You are responsible for your own compliance with any third-party platform's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party platforms or for any changes those platforms make to their services or APIs.
You may disconnect any third-party integration at any time through the applicable service settings or directly through the third-party platform.
Access to Google services is subject to Google's Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms) and the Google API Services User Data Policy. You may revoke our access to your Google account at any time through myaccount.google.com.
Access to Meta platforms is subject to Meta's Platform Terms. You represent that you have authority to connect your Meta business accounts to our service. We are not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.
Payment processing is provided by Stripe, Inc. pursuant to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (stripe.com/legal/connect-account/legal). By enabling payment features, you agree to the applicable Stripe terms, authorize Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and products to instruct Stripe to hold, disburse, and refund funds on your behalf, and acknowledge that platform fees may be deducted from payouts prior to disbursement. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of Stripe's services or for errors or delays in fund disbursement.
Communication features including SMS and voice are subject to applicable telecommunications laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws. If you use communication features to contact your own customers, you are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required consents from those individuals before sending any message or initiating any call. We are not liable for violations of telecommunications laws arising from your use of communication features with your own customer lists.
By enabling voice features, you represent that you have authority to have calls handled by automated systems on behalf of your business and agree to ensure that required disclosures are made to callers in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your callers, including disclosures required by state call recording consent laws. You are solely responsible for compliance with two-party consent requirements in applicable states. We are not liable for violations of call recording, telecommunications, or AI disclosure laws arising from your use of voice features.
AI-assisted voice and messaging features operate on behalf of your business. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of automated communications sent through your account. Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates are not liable for errors in AI-generated responses or for any commitments made by automated systems on your behalf without your review.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Sozo Holdings LLC related to your account, appointments, quotes, jobs, reminders, and, where you have agreed, review requests and offers.
You opt in by submitting a contact or booking form that includes a clear SMS consent checkbox, by providing your number to a business using our software and agreeing to receive texts, or by checking a consent box during onboarding. We keep a record of each opt-in. We do not text anyone who has not opted in.
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.
Either party may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. We will make your data available for export for thirty (30) days following termination, after which we may delete it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, and limitations of liability.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sozo Holdings LLC and its affiliates, subsidiaries, products, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service will not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here.
